Amron Remote Two-Way Speaker w/PTT Switch

Communications using Amron’s model 3110 Remote Two-Way Speaker are accomplished by using the Push-to-Talk (PTT) toggle switch and speaker, or by connecting a headset to the Neutrik style connector (4-pin) on the side of the box. Headset communication provides hands-free, full duplex communications and permits conversation without disturbing other chamber occupants. Amron’s 2401-31R Deluxe Headset and 2460-31R Standard Headset come pre-configured with a Neutrik style 4-pin connector that works directly with the 3110 speaker and headset connector.

The PTT switch doubles as a call switch when using Amron’s 3226 Chamber Communications Routing Panel (optional). Momentarily holding the switch activates a call indicator on the 3226 comm routing panel. The 3226 call indicator is both an audio alarm and a visual indicator that identifies the caller's location in the chamber.

Electrical wiring exits the box at the bottom through the 7-pin MS (military style) connector. Included with the 3110 speaker is separate MS connector that mates with the connector on the bottom of the 3110 speaker box. This separate MS connector (P/N MS-3106A-16S-1S) comes with a cable clamp (P/N MS-3057-8A) and strain relief bushing (P/N MS-3420-8) and provides for organized and easy chamber wiring.

The durable, die cast, zinc, powder coated 3110 speaker box is mounted using two flanges located on the left and right of the box using 1/4 in. screws.
