Inside Sales Account Manager

As a leader in the industries we support, Amron continues to expand and innovate to provide the highest quality products and service possible. We are currently looking for a customer focused and highly motivated Inside Sales Account Manager to join our Sales Team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Researches and analyzes sales opportunities by understanding the customer’s requirements, budgets, and buying habits.
  • Sells products by developing relationships with key company personnel via telephone and recommends products and service solutions to fill their needs and requirements.
  • Works proactively and professionally to ensure that the customer’s experience measures up to Amron’s customer service goals and promotes repeat business.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by staying current on industry trends, new products, market activities, reviewing competitor’s strengths/weaknesses, and attending company product training sessions.
  • Promotes Amron Website and educates customers on its benefits and available tools to better meet their equipment and service requirements.

Qualifications and Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics or similar discipline.
  • 2-4 years inside sales experience in commercial diving or similar B2B industry but willing to consider a recent college grad that fulfills educational requirement above.
  • Strong PC skills and knowledge of MS applications, with advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) highly desired.
  • Must be adept at managing multiple responsibilities, working independently, and capable of contributing to a positive team effort.

Contracts Administrator/Pricing Analyst

For over 35 years, Amron International has provided high quality commercial diving equipment and related gear to our customers located in over 100 countries throughout the world. Amron's customers include professional divers, special operations forces, state and federal security agencies, and outdoor enthusiasts to list a few. As a leader in the industries we support, Amron continues to expand and innovate to provide the highest quality products and service possible. We are currently looking for a customer focused and highly motivated Contracts Administrator/Pricing Analyst to join our Marketing Team.

Job Responsibilities:

Contracts Administrator

  • Establish and maintain relationships with Contracting Officers responsible for company’s GSA and DOD Emall Contracts. Develop and implement new GSA schedule contracts.
  • Work with and provide guidance to the Marketing team to ensure the company stays in compliance with all GSA and DOD Emall rules and regulations.
  • Conduct periodic competitive pricing analysis to ensure the company’s pricing remains competitive.
  • Complete contract solicitations as they become available for GSA and DOD Emall.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the Contracting Officers assigned to the applicable sections of the contracts.
  • Submit proper documentation, pricing spreadsheets, SIP files in a timely, complete and thorough manner.
  • Continually look for new opportunities within GSA and DOD Emall to help maximize the potential of these two programs.

Pricing Analyst

  • Research and analyze each product type from the managed brand/vendor list to determine market conditions. Obtain input from sales, purchasing and marketing on competition, market forces, and trends.
  • Analyze Amron’s freight costs, market stance, and suggest margins for government contracts. Submit suggestions to Marketing Management to set margins on each product line.
  • Review all aspects of pricing for managed vendors as they pertain to government contracts and resolve pricing discrepancies with Purchasing team.
  • Work with Marketing and Purchasing team members to ensure the products are represented correctly with competitive pricing, proper descriptions, and special notes in Navision.
  • Research and analyze each product type from the managed brand/vendor list to determine market conditions. Obtain input from sales, purchasing and marketing on competition, market forces, and trends.
  • Analyze Amron’s freight costs, market stance, and suggest margins for government contracts. Submit suggestions to Marketing Management to set margins on each product line.
  • Review all aspects of pricing for managed vendors as they pertain to government contracts and resolve pricing discrepancies with Purchasing team.
  • Work with Marketing and Purchasing team members to ensure the products are represented correctly with competitive pricing, proper descriptions, and special notes in Navision.
  • Work with graphics team to insure the products are showcased accurately and thoroughly on GSA Advantage and DOD Emall.
  • Read all dealer agreements to insure that the company is following any and all vendor guidelines and restrictions. Examples: MAP Policies, government restrictions, etc.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics or similar discipline.

Experience

  • 1-2 years of data analysis, including strong Excel skills. Some applicable experience with product-based government contracts highly desired but not required.
  • Must be able to execute VLookups and work with Pivot Tables in Excel. NOTE: Excel test included in the interview process.
  • Must have proficiency with MS Office, Adobe, and Word and experience with electronic filing and scanning.
  • Willing to consider new grads who meet educational requirement stated above.

Skills and Abilities

  • A strong analytical and business acumen is required with the ability to analyze data and make recommendations based on the findings
  • Strong computer skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Data-driven, self-motivated, hard-working and passionate about the quality of your work
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing in a wide variety of situations
  • Comfortable working with large data sets
  • Strong Internet research skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet important deadlines while maintaining flexibility in a fast moving environment

Customer Service Representative

We are currently looking for a customer focused and highly motivated Customer Service Representative to join our Sales Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of the Government Contracts Salesperson, shall review government bidding websites such as DIBBS, GSA eBuy, FEDBID, and other State and Federal bid boards for opportunities to bid.
  • Analyze Amron’s freight costs, vendor pricing, selling prices from posted past awarded contracts, and suggest margins for government contracts. Submit suggestions to Government Contracts Salesperson to set margins on each solicitation in the approve Excel spreadsheet.
  • Maintain quality customer service and promote repeat business by ensuring government contracting officers’ questions and requests are answered in a timely manner, orders are managed and shipped within the promised delivery requirements, and the customer is left with a positive and favorable experience.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by remaining current on industry trends, new products, market activities, and competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and attend company product training sessions as applicable to bidding government contracts.
  • Work in a proactive, professional manner with the internal Amron sales team (Purchasing, Accounting, Manufacturing, Warehouse, and Marketing) to help ensure that the customer’s experience measures up to Amron’s service goals and that all promises are kept.
  • Create and/or update standard operating procedures for bidding on government bid boards and pricing analysis functions/duties as applicable.
  • As current workload permits, serves as a backup to the Contracts Administrator-Pricing Analyst within the Marketing Department.

Requirements

Education

  • High school diploma; bachelor's degree in business, finance or other related discipline preferred.

Experience

  • 2-5 years of customer service, inside sales, or order desk experience and/or knowledge of government contracting terms and processes helpful. Will consider a recent grad with limited work experience who meets the educational qualifications above.
  • Must have advanced PC skills (MS Office, Adobe, Excel, and Word) and experience with electronic filing and scanning. Excel skills test will be given.
