The Amron International Model 3126 Outer-Lock Combo Box is a small, compact package that supplies all of the electrical and communication requirements for the chamber inside the outer-lock. As part of Amron's "Easy as 1-2-3 System,"Model 3126 allows you to set up your chamber communications, auxiliary and electrical wiring with ease, just as the name implies. This system is a complete "off the shelf", pre-tested chamber communication and wiring system for a double lock chamber. The system is designed for installation by non-electrical type personnel and requires only a crescent wrench and a screw driver. This eliminates the engineering and hunting for all the bits and pieces necessary to properly wire a chamber.
The Amron International model 3126 Outer-Lock Combo Box is a full-featured, chamber communications and wiring system for a double lock chamber. Amron's model 3126 provides three methods of communication and allows users to set up chamber communications and electrical wiring in the outer lock with ease.
Communications using the model 3126 are accomplished by using the on/off switch and speaker, or by connecting a headset to the Neutrik style connector on the front of the box. The headset communication provides hands-free, full duplex communications. When power isn’t available, the sound-powered phone handset can be used to communicate. The sound-powered phone handset connects to a 1/4 in. phono plug jack on the bottom of the box.
The 3125 box has a rear-mounted electrical penetrator with a 3/4 in. MNPT thread and a 1 1/2 in. hex head. The penetrator is mounted to the 3126 box using slotted screw holes so the box can be rotated and aligned vertically after the NPT threaded penetrator is screwed into the chamber penetrator.
Electrical wiring transits from outside through the electrical penetrator into the 3126. To make penetrator wiring easy, Amron highly recommends using Amron’s model 3127 Outside Junction Box to transit wiring through the chamber penetrator and into the 3126.
