The Amron AHB-80825 1/2 in. x #8 JIC Hose Barb is a brass, SAE J514 fitting with a 7/8 in. hex nut. It is intended to be used for 1/2 in. ID breathing hoses. The brass barb is 2.35 in. long for maximum penetration into the hose and allows enough room to install three Band-It JS2439 3/8 in. stainless steel band clamps.
