The Amron AHB-60606 3/8 in. Hose Mender is a brass coupler fitting used to mend a hose with a split or leak, where the damaged part of the hose is cut away and the hose mender fitting is used to join the two ends of the cut away part of the hose. The fitting is intended to be used for 3/8 in. ID breathing hoses. The brass barbs on each end are 2 in. long for maximum penetration into the hose and allow enough room to install three Band-It JS2429 1/4 in. stainless steel band clamps across each barb.
