Inhalation noise reduction (INR) allows the user to adjust or completely remove each diver’s inhalation noise.
Each diver has an individual INR adjustment control and LED indicator to control the level of noise reduction desired.
INR LED indicators illuminate when the INR function is actively removing diver inhalation noise.
The wireless tender master transceiver is conveniently installed in the lid, allowing the tender to communicate to divers with hands-free operation and no required buttons to push.
The wireless headset is self-contained and does not require a belt module. A single charge of the Lithium battery from the included AC adapter is capable of operating (transmitting and receiving) continually for up to 5 hours. In standby mode, the battery will last for up to 8 hours.
Diver umbilical connections on the front panel are 5-pin MS (Military Standard) connections.

All communicators will inherently transfer topside noise to the divers when the tender speaks directly into the communicator Panel Mic. To reduce topside background noise, use the Wireless Tender Kit or the 2405NC-28 Noise Cancelling Hand Held Push-to-Talk Microphone included with this model.
Inhalation Noise Reduction (INR) and Wireless Tender features require the use of Full Duplex (4-Wire).
For tethered tender mobility when the wireless tender module is not being used, the optional 2401-28 Deluxe Headset with Boom Mic can be purchased along with the 2822-28 Remote Walk-and-Talk (4-wire mode) or the 2821-28 Remote Walk-and-Talk (2-wire mode).
