FAQ's
Is it possible to re-connect underwater at a depth of 100 meters?
Technically you can mate this connector at full depth rating. However, divers can only dive a certain depth, unless you have an ROV to mate it much deeper. The difficult part is to de-mate the connector underwater for the fact that the pressure keeps the connector mated and virtually impossible for a diver to de-mate. When connected and you try to pull apart underwater, this creates a vacuum which holds the connector mated unless you have enough torque to pull apart. The connector can re-connect at 100M.
