The Stanley Hydraulic Underwater Chipping Hammer CH15 is a light but powerful alternative to air powered tools. Designed for medium to heavy-duty jobs, the Stanley Underwater CH15’s high power-to-weight ratio makes it the ideal underwater tool for commercial divers working on light concrete breaking jobs and for chipping concrete or steel underwater. The compact size and balance of the underwater tool makes it easy for commercial divers to use in confined, hard-to-reach locations. This Stanley Hydraulic Underwater Chipping Hammer model is the CE version.

The Stanley Hydraulic Underwater Chipping Hammer CH15 comes furnished with hose whips and quick disconnect couplers.

The body of the Stanley Hydraulic Underwater Chipping Hammer CH15 is shock and heat insulated. The ergonomic design of the handle and grip provide increased control and diver comfort, resulting in increased commercial diver productivity. The CH15 has a floating trigger design requires minimal pressure across any part of its surface to engage the underwater tool. The trigger is protected within the handle to prevent accidental operation of the underwater tool.

The CH15 has a solid bit retainer and will accept 0.58 inch hex shank - oval collar tool bits. It can be powered by the Stanley Hydraulic Portable Power Unit GT18 or any hydraulic power supply capable of delivering 7-9 gpm (15-23 or 26-34 lpm) at 1000–2000 psi (69-140 bar) down to the commercial diver. The hydraulic power supply should meet the requirements of the HTMA Type I or Type II tool circuits.

FAQ's
Will my tool operate if I use a lower flow rate than what would be considered optimum for the tool to operate?
Yes, most tools have an optimal flow range, as long as the gallons per minute delivered to the tool is within this range the tool will work. However, please be award that the tool will run at a slower speed based on the flow rated delivered to the tool. Basically, the lower the gallons per minute the slower the tool will run.
Do any of the Stanley hydraulic tools ship full of hydraulic oil?
No, but the factory normally will leave a little fluid inside the tool to help lubricate the internal components during storage.
