Amron’s Snubber was designed to protect pressure gauges and other sensitive pneumatic equipment from damage by slowing pressure down changes, reducing shock, chatter and pressure spikes. The snubber should be installed between the instrument root valve and the gauge, where sudden pressure changes are noticeable. Snubbers prevent accelerated wear to the internal movement, and reduce shock to the gauge.

Is the snubber bidirectional?
Yes, either end connection can be used as an input.
Can the Amron Pressure Limiting Valve be used with thicker fluids like oil?
Yes, but a special snubber that will meet the viscosity requirement of your specific fluid would be required. Please contact your Amron Sales Representative for more information.
