Amron International's Model 8206 Low Air Pressure Alarm System - Series E is designed for monitoring the output of an air compressor or air storage bank and alerts the tender or dive supervisor of a decrease in air pressure to the commercial diver. The Model 8206 Low Air Pressure Alarm System - Series E is a self-contained modular unit which, when connected to an air pressure source, will sound an alarm when the air pressure decreases below the set point.
Both a visual and audio indication is provided. A two-color LED on the front panel indicates green when the air pressure is "normal" or above the set point, and changes to red when the air pressure drops below the pre-set pressure level. At the point at which the air pressure drops below the set point, an audio alarm with a pulsing tone of 2900 HZ, at a level of 90 dB (A) @ 2 in. is also activated.
The Model 8206 Low Air Pressure Alarm System - Series E is for air pressure alarm applications and is suitable for maximum systems service pressures of up to 1000 psi.

FAQ's
To adjust the unit to a different set point pressure, remove the cover of the unit and locate the pressure switch. To change the set point, turn the adjustment sleeve clockwise to increase the set point. Turn counterclockwise to decrease the set point. Cycle the pressure and check the set point several times to verify correctness and accuracy of the set point.
Power for the Low Pressure Alarm Monitor is provided by a 9-volt battery located in the battery drawer on the right hand side of the unit. Release and remove the drawer to replace the battery.
Pressure is sensed via the ¼” JIC male connector located on the left-hand side of the unit. Note: This is a dead end system, with no air being consumed or used by the Low Pressure Alarm Monitor.
The 8206-D is by far the most popular version sold. The trip point range is ideal for commercial diving operations. Amron’s Pressure Alarm Monitor is designed for monitoring the output pressure of a compressor or air storage bank and alert the operator of a decrease in air pressure. Example: If the output pressure on your compressor is set at 180 psi and the pressure were to drop below the set point on the 8206-D let say 100 psi then the alarm would sound and the LED light would turn red warning the operator of the loss of pressure.
The 9-volt battery has enough power to operate the audio alarm for approximately 40 hours. The less the audio alarm is activated the longer the battery will last. On average you should change your battery every 30 days.
