Can I use my 02281 Carbide Bit to drill in concrete?
Yes, this bit can be used on concrete, but it doesn’t do too well when it hits rebar. If the bit hits rebar, it will damage the carbide lead-in tip on the end of the drill bit
What type of bit do I need to drill through concrete with rebar?
Drilling through concrete with rebar requires the use of a diamond tip drill bit. Please contact your Amron sales representative for a price quote.
