Stanley PD45132 Hydraulic Post Driver w/ On/Off Trigger (In-Handle)

Stanley’s PD45 Post Driver is a heavy duty tool for driving a wide range of posts including #2, #3, & #4 lb/ft. "U" channel, #3 & #4 Strong Back "U" channel, #1 delineator, up to 2-5/8 inch round, or up to 2-1/2 inch square posts. Ideal for D.O.T. applications to drive breakaway post to within 4 inches above ground level. This model has the On/Off switch connected to the tool handle.

Features:

The PD45 Post Driver is the most versatile tool of its type available. The standard PD45 will drive posts of almost any configuration, including “U” channel, round or square. Unlike other post drivers that simply rest on the top of the post, the PD45 lets the operator “index” the post in the tool. This gives improved control of the post and driver. It also reduces the damage to the top of the post. The PD45 features dual guiding handles, a lifting eye and multiple post adapters. The optional adapters allow the PD45 to be used on smaller posts of different shapes. The PD45 is offered in three trigger options; two have the trigger in the handle (Valve-in-Handle) and one has a remote on/off. Both trigger Valve-in Handle models have an ON/OFF trigger adjacent to a guiding handle. The trigger extends the full length of the handle allowing the operator to activate the post driver at any position of its length. The trigger is “spring loaded” to the OFF position.
