The Kirby Morgan 525-112 Pull Pin Sleeve Kit has been designed to help prevent the knob of the sealed pull pin from catching or snagging on objects or protrusions.

Kirby Morgan strongly recommends that the tender, stand by diver, or at least a second person, ALWAYS pre-dive check the sealed pull pins to ensure that both of the sealed pull pins are fully latched and in the closed position prior to each and every dive.

Note: Kirby Morgan 550-232 Sleeves for the sealed pull pins are now marked with a groove, effective immediately (April 27, 2015). When used with the stainless steel helmets, Kirby Morgan recommends shortening the sleeves (550-232) a small amount, for improved fit and function. A groove marking the best area to trim the sleeve is now machined into the material around the small end of the sleeve, as shown on Bulletin #5 of 2015 in the Attachments tab.

Note: This kit contains instructions on trimming when used with the Kirby Morgan stainless steel helmets. Trimming is NOT necessary when used with the fiberglass helmets. Kirby Morgan does not recommend trimming earlier sleeves that do not have the machined groove.
