A new microphone is now available and is standard for all Surface Supplied MOD-1s and Surface Supplied Pods. The microphone is housed in a non-removable yellow casing and features very durable fixed jumper wires. The P/N 815-039 Surface Supplied Microphone Assembly is a single complete unit compared to the four individual components needed for the previous microphone. There are no changes to the installation of the microphone into the Oral Cup and no modifications related to maintenance procedures.
