Ratings

Ampere ratings of Type A, non-fusible, knife switches are based on a temperature rise of not more than 30°C above an ambient temperature of not more than 40°C when mounted in open air. Enclosed ratings are based on the switches being mounted in enclosures with adequate ventilation and with a bus or cable of appropriate size.
