Information

This top-of-the-line comm set incorporates the Kirby Morgan® Communication Assembly with Male Waterproof Connector 515-024 and Amron’s Pre-Amplified Microphone 190-1000-01. The mic was specifically designed for the US military to be used with the KM 37®, KM 97® helmets, however the mic’s contoured shape and versatile design allow it to easily snap-in to all KM® helmets/mask oral nasals.

Along with the KM® communications assembly, this state-of-the-art pre-amplified mic provides smooth-sounding clear speech with a high degree of intelligibility through its automatic gain control (AGC), especially at high volume levels. The mic amplifier’s differential output also rejects electro-magnetic interference (EMI) for a quieter overall performance in both shallow and deep saturation dive applications. This comm set pairs perfectly for use with all Amron Communicators especially those models that incorporate Inhalation Noise Reduction (INR) and Helium Speech Unscrambling (HSU).

The microphone is waterproof, corrosion proof, floodable, and has an incredibly long life compared to other microphones on the market.
