Is proud to introduce a new family of active noise reduction products designed to dramatically reduce the background noise inherent in most commercial diving operations!

Amron's new INR module features an individual inhalation noise reduction circuit for each driver that can either suppress or completely eliminate the sound generated by divers' inhalations. Removing these constant noises will improve sound quality and intelligibility between the tender and divers.

The Inhalation Noise Reduction (INR) is a feature that many military and scientific divers recognize as an important safety feature for hearing protection and better communication intelligibility.

Amron’s Inhalation Noise Reduction module utilizes the latest digital technology to reduce and even eliminate diver inhalation noise at the discretion of the tender via individual INR adjustment controls and LED indicators located on the front panel.

The INR feature has been incorporated in both Amron’s portable and rack mount communicators. The built in INR module can recognize the inhalation noise through the use of high frequency content characteristics of inhalation noise.

Amron's engineering team has scoured the planet for the best Active Noise Reduction headsets and microphones available today. Amron has chosen award-winning Active Noise Reduction pioneer Bose for our new ANR headsets.

Bose's headset features two key technologies; unmatched active noise reduction and a unique dynamic noise cancelling microphone. Their proprietary electronic circuitry design shapes and equalizes incoming audio signals to provide a clean full-sound quality that greatly enhances intelligibility of the intercom audio.

For our Noise Cancelling Push-to-Talk microphone, Amron has chosen recognized leader in the noise cancelling industry; Telex. Telex's noise cancelling design is particularly effective for use in noisy locations and provides excellent sound clarity.

Using Amron’s new INR feature along with a topside Active Noise Reduction (ANR) headset provides optimum clarity of speech for both tender and divers.

Amron's advanced INR technology coupled with active noise reduction headsets provides the tender with advanced hearing protection.

As in all Amron communicators, the INR feature operates with both dynamic and pre-amp microphone applications automatically. When using Amron’s INR technology with World-Leading Bose Active Noise Reduction (ANR) headset, you now have a complete system that can eliminate both diver inhalation noise and topside noise, making Amron’s communicators the most versatile and unique in the world.
