Terms of Service

Orders are accepted for open billing to well-rated firms with approved credit, government agencies, and municipalities. Standard open account terms are net 30 days after date of invoice/shipment.

In the event the buyer fails to fulfill previous terms of payment or Amron has doubt at any time, as to the buyer's financial responsibility, Amron has the right to revoke open credit terms.

New Accounts
Orders from new customers require prepayment in the form of MasterCard, Visa, Discover, wire transfer, or company check unless credit terms have been established.

If you are interested in possibly establishing credit terms with Amron, you will need to send a completed and signed Amron Credit Application Form. Please note that orders may be delayed during the credit verification process and there is no guarantee that credit terms will be established.

Export customers need to submit payment in U.S. Dollars at time of order. Payment can be made by wire transfer, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, certified bank check, or money order.

Wire Transfer
Some international customers may be required to pre-pay their order in U.S. funds by wire transfer. Fees associated with the wire transfer must be paid by the customer. To obtain wiring instructions please contact a customer service representative (760) 208-6500, Monday –Friday 6am – 5pm PST, or email us.  Please include your full name, your Amron customer account number and your order number. 

Letter of Credit
Irrevocable Letter of Credit (L/C) can be issued per our instructions. All bank charges associated with an L/C are to be paid by the customer. If you are interested in opening an L/C, please contact one of our customer service representatives at (877) 462-6700 or (760) 208-6500 or email us for details.

Credit Applications
All customers interested in establishing credit terms must complete and sign the Amron Credit Application form here. The Amron Credit Application Form must be signed by an owner, partner, or corporate officer. Please note that orders may be delayed during the credit verification process and there is no guarantee that credit terms will be established.  Email the completed credit application to email us or fax to (760) 599-3857.

Personal Checks
Amron will accept personal checks for purposes of prepayment only. Personal checks are deposited and the funds are held until the check has cleared the bank.

Delinquent Accounts
All past-due accounts are subject to interest charges of 1.5% per month (18% per annum). New orders from delinquent accounts will be shipped on a prepayment basis until the old balance has been paid in full and the credit standing has been restored. In the event a collection service is needed, all collection and attorney fees will be added to the balance due.

Returned Checks
There will be a $35.00 handling charge on all non-sufficient-funds checks. Account standing may be jeopardized with extenuating circumstances.

Credit Cards
Amron accepts MasterCard, Visa and Discover. The "Bill To" address on the order must match the cardholder's billing address.

Credit Card Processing Policy
Amron International, Inc. is serious about protecting its customers from credit card fraud. Our payment card system is compliant with the guidelines set by the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and credit card information is encrypted and secured. We do not store the CVV (Card Verification Value) information of a card, and you may be asked to provide your CVV code every time an order is processed.

One of the many methods we use to protect our customers is the credit card Address Verification System (AVS). When processing an order, we verify with the credit card company that the billing address given to us matches the billing address that the credit card company has on file. If the addresses match, the order is processed. If the billing addresses do not match, we contact the customer to obtain the correct billing address.

Please be aware that in attempting to process the order, most banks will hold the "authorized" funds (counting against your balance until the authorization clears) even if your order was rejected by our security measures.

Amron International, Inc. does not have the capability nor is it obligated to release the bank's temporary hold on authorized funds. Since we do not have the capability to release the bank’s temporary hold, we cannot be responsible for the policies of the customer's banking institution regarding the holding of authorized funds. Please note that authorization fund holds last for varying periods, depending on the issuing credit card company's policy. The period may be as little as one day or as long as several months. We suggest that the customer contact the issuing credit card company or bank in order to resolve these types of situations. 

Minimum Billing
Amron has a $50.00 minimum order policy for all orders.

Custom and Special-Order Items
Custom products such as diving umbilical's or special-order products require payment in advance from customers who have yet to establish a credit standing with Amron. These products are sold to everyone on a non-cancelable and non-returnable basis.
