The Crouse Hinds Series B51 Connector belongs to the Watermate family of connectors. The Crouse Hinds Series B51 Watermate Waterproof Connector family consists of the Series 51, 53, B51 and B53.
The Crouse Hinds B51 Watermate Waterproof Connectors have flanged bodies to retain locking sleeves for positive plug retention and can mate with Crouse Hinds Series B53 Bulkhead Connectors. Rubber-to-Rubber contact of specially formulated neoprene provides total sealing integrity. Unmated connectors should not be exposed to water for an extended period. Dummy connectors should be used to purge water from the contact surfaces and reduce corrosion. Extreme flexing and rough handling will reduce the useful life of the Crouse Hinds B51 Watermate Waterproof Connector.
