Peltor's electronic talk-thru headset combines the most sophisticated surround sound listening electronics with a new slim-line profile cup design. The SwatTAC II headset have dual ear-cup microphones to let wearers hear ambient sounds 360°, along with the capability to suppress gunshots and other high impact noises.

Advanced electronic design will allow for continuous communication on 2-way radios even when batteries fail, only talk-thru feature is inoperable until batteries are replaced. Cup microphones provide talkthru listening capability. Electronics will instantaneously suppress harmful impact noises to 82 dBA inside the earcups, while amplifying up to 18 dB ambient noises/voices. 1 AA battery in each cup, 270 hrs battery life, waterproof battery housing design.
