Kanvas introduces Kaenon’s custom-engineered internal cam-driven hinges that remove weight and hold the temples in the worn or folded position. The Kanvas frame embodies everything that you love about a Kaenon Polarized sunglass with simple, understated, if not conservative styling. Patented SR-91™ polarized lenses are housed in the wrapped, 8-base frame constructed from light-weight injection-molded TR-90 that also includes our Variflex™ buried nose pads for added comfort and anchoring stability when worn.
Kaenon Polarized introduced SR-91® lenses as the answer to all of the shortcomings of existing polarized lenses. SR-91 was tested in independent labs and confirmed to be the only polarized lens that offers razor-sharp clarity, impact-resistance and glare-reduction all in one ultra-lightweight and durable lens. The SR-91 exceeds ANSI Z87.1 for high impact resistance.
