The Stanley Underwater Diamond Chain Saw DS11 brings new technology to the underwater concrete cutting industry. Using segments impregnated with diamond and laser welded to the saw’s chain, the commercial diver can cut concrete (including wire or rebar reinforced), brick, concrete block, masonry or stone underwater.
The Stanley Hydraulic Underwater Diamond Chain Saw DS11 comes furnished with hose whips and couplers.
Square corner cut capability is inherent because the Stanley Hydraulic Underwater Diamond Chain Saw DS11 is a chain saw. The Stanley Hydraulic Underwater Diamond Chain Saw DS11 cuts square corners without over-cuts and the labor and expense of corner drilling and patching. That’s especially important in load-bearing walls where architects and engineers have specified no over-cut. Bar and chain for the Stanley Hydraulic Underwater Diamond Chain Saw DS11 are sold separately for this underwater tool.
Plunge cut capability of the Stanley Underwater Diamond Chainsaw DS11 allows notching and trimming of underwater concrete pipes.
Ergonomic handles and guards help to reduce commercial diver fatigue and provide protection from contact with the chain or materials being cut. Heavy-duty cast aluminum chain guard prevents a loose or broken chain from being thrown from the underwater saw.
Compatible with HTMA Class II hydraulic systems, the Stanley Hydraulic Underwater Diamond Chainsaw DS11 can be powered from a Stanley Hydraulic compact power unit or any properly equipped hydraulic source. Can the DS11 cut concrete with rebar?
Yes, but only when using the Diamond Pinnacle-32 or -37 Sealed Chain.

What type of concrete can the DS11 cut?
The manufacturer suggest when using the Pinnacle-32 or -37 chain you can cut very hard aggregate concretes (flint, chert, granite, etc). Heavy steel reinforcing, 5/8 inch/16 mm diameter and larger. Medium/hard aggregate concretes (granite, quartz, river rock, etc). Moderate steel reinforcing (wire mesh 3/8-1/2 inch/10-12 mm diameter). Soft aggregate concrete, concrete block, masonry, “green” concrete, highly abrasive conditions.
When using the Ultra-32 or -37 you can cut medium/hard aggregate concretes (granite, quartz, river rock, etc). Moderate steel reinforcing (wire mesh 3/8-1/2 inch/10-12 mm diameter). Soft aggregate concrete, concrete block, masonry, “green” concrete, highly abrasive conditions.
