More than 1,400 servicemen and women have lost limbs serving our country. Some of them are regaining their mobility in a unique and fun way. S.U.D.S. (Soldiers Undertaking Disabled Scuba) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of America’s wounded warriors by teaching them to scuba dive.

While these soldiers are used to hearing explosions and gun shots while they are protecting our country’s freedom, SUDS puts them in a tranquil environment where they mostly hear the bubbles coming from their SCUBA regulators or the crackling of the reefs. More than 200 wounded warriors have taken part in this amazing program and it has proven to be completely life changing.
