Gates® 33HB Diver's Breathing Hose is kink resistant and meets MIL-H-2815G Section 3.12.2 off-gassing for air breathing applications especially for commercial diving. These hoses specialize in handling mixtures or oxygen, helium, and nitrogen gases customarily used in diving applications as air breathing hoses.
The Amron International Hose Barb (AHB) is the safest fitting for the Gates® 33HB Diver's Hose.

Which Band-it clamp do I use when installing any 3/8" Amron Hose Barb on my 3/8” 33HB Diver’s Hose or 34BA Synflex Breathing Air Hose?Amron recommends using six J-240 Band-it clamps per hose. On most umbilical’s you would use three clamps on each side.

Can I use a permanent swage on hose fitting on my Gates 33HB Diver's Hose?No, the Gates 33HB Diver's Hose was not designed to be used with permanent swage on hose fittings. Gates only recommends using hose barb style fittings with Band-it clamps or their 33HB Brass Diver's Air Hose Couplings.
